Message from Chairman
The year 2024 continued to pose challenges for businesses in the healthcare services industry, including Sikarin Public Company Limited (Sikarin). Over the past year, we encountered rapid changes across multiple dimensions — from evolving patient and societal expectations, technological advancements, to the impacts of climate change affecting public health and Sikarin’s assets directly. In response, Sikarin has maximized the use of its resources to enhance service capabilities, ensuring standardized care that effectively meets patients’ needs, while maintaining business stability amid ongoing global economic uncertainties.
During the past year, Sikarin introduced a new service, "Sikarin 24-Hour Specialist Care," to strengthen our capacity to deliver continuous care for patients. We also initiated the development of an international-standard emergency medical institute to meet the growing demand for emergency services.
Moreover, Sikarin continued to advance specialized medical institutes such as the Heart Institute, Women's Health Institute, and the Gastroenterology and Liver Institute, preparing for the needs of an aging population and the emergence of new diseases, while accommodating rising healthcare demands.
At the same time, Sikarin remains deeply committed to protecting, preserving, and nurturing the environment alongside providing high-quality medical services. In 2024, we implemented hospital energy-saving initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and developed an environmentally friendly medical waste management system. Community health promotion remains a core mission; we organized free health check-up programs for communities surrounding our hospital and collaborated with local agencies to extend medical services to remote areas — all reflecting our commitment to creating holistic value for both society and the environment.
Sikarin’s sustainable development efforts were recognized with our inclusion in the ESG100 group for the fourth consecutive year in 2024, awarded by Thaipat Institute, Thailand’s leading sustainability organization. This recognition reinforces our commitment to creating lasting value across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) dimensions.
Looking ahead, Sikarin remains steadfast in driving business growth through a sustainable approach. We are determined to be a leading hospital providing the highest quality of care, while expanding access to medical services for all patient groups, enhancing the wellbeing of our employees — who are our most valuable asset — and protecting and conserving the environment. These efforts aim to ensure the long-term stability of our business and strengthen the trust of all our stakeholders.
